Actually Six, IIRC, there are some Monk kits. I think they were originally released in Dragon Magazine, lemme think, probably in the mid 80's.
There was 4 or 5. All of them were designed on the different schools of Kung Fu and Aikido. One was a staff user, and one was sort of like a Kensai when using katana class weapons. All of them were optional of course, not 100% official, but, a nice DM might let you use them in a campaign.
I remember the Aikido one quite well though. It allowed you to use Throws. Insanely powerful it was. Think of a Dragon's Wing Buffet and then think of a Monk doing that with his fists. POW! Send somebody flying, taken out of action for 1d12 rounds, 50% chance to be knocked out.
It would be nice if these were modded into the game.
