Hey, Willow, Chicago *is* windy, but gets the name "windy city" from an old newspaper article reference to Chicago politics.

As a testament to the fact that hijinks are not dead yet, last week Mayor Daley, without any warning or notice, sent construction vehicles out at midnight and tore up the runway at Meig's field (very small airport on a peninsula that juts out into the Lake next to downtown where Soldier Field and the Field Museum sit) by tearing large holes and X's in it. When asked about the "midnight work," Daley responded he didn't want a possible injunction to stop his act, which was one of "security."

While he has long bitched that Chicago didn't get a "no fly" zone established over downtown until 2 weeks ago, while Disney has had one since shortly after 9/11, it is also well known he wants to build a park where Meig's Field is.

Oh, work is fine. My feet are starting to leave marks on my desk, though.
