TL your "quit eating meat" comment would make sense if it were necessary [img]smile.gif[/img] but it isn't we can feed the world without removing meat from our diet. Cattle grazing lands are nto necessarily lands well suited to raising crops and even then, to raise enough food you still end up needing modified crops, cross polination, grafting, genetic modifications all of it are needed and have been in constant use since man became agrarian. Do you think strawberries grow that big in nature? hell no...they are treeny little things smaller than your thumb.
Over population may be a problem, but not here in the US. There is plenty of room for 300million people or even 600 million on the continental US. The places where we are over populated are mostly in the Asian sphere of things.
