I had the exact same problem. Once on of them casted a spell, the game would crash. I also noticed that problem with the Shadow Druids.

My guess is that it's somehow related to their overridden scripts. They're probably flawed in a way which causes the game to crash.

I tried to modify the scripts, but to no avail. I just ^Y'd them eventuall...
