I shall convey your sympathy to Galadria, Epona. It was in the middle of the night, and we didn't have any meat tenderiser to put on it, so we used some of my old pipe-tobacco (really old - I haven't smoked in six years!) to put on it, which seemed to help. We have vinyl flooring in our kitchen, with little area rugs that Galadria launders every week. Sauteeing seems particularly bad for them, and flouring.
