The most amazing reply of them all was that by the most noble Lady Epona: that she did still remember the penguin-waving incident after all this time is almost scary ! From time to time I seem to feel the irrepressible urge to visit that deep abyss called depression, probably just to remind myself that life up here, while far from perfect, is indefinitely better than down there.
