Butcher of the English Language!?!Give us a break, Butterfingers. Despite the sarcasm and the typos that SixOfSpades mentioned earlier in the previous posts, I personally think that you do look like the "educated sort of folk" you are. I know how difficult it is for a Southerner(or any people that are foreign to the english language), like yourself, to achieve an optimal level in the English language, and futhermore, how hard it is to struggle in a university or a college. Consider me, for example, I am a second year university student that might possibly have to withdraw from all of my classes next year just because my "english requirement is not met". That english requirement standard is set to simply achieving a 5 out of 6 marks ranked essay. That might sound as easy as said, but like butterfingers, the english language is a challenge for me since i immigrated from Asia to the Northern American not too long ago. Now I am all concerned and anxious since I really enjoyed my university life.
Anyways, Butterfingers, any advise that you can give to an amateur to improve his English usage and writing skills?
By the way, SixofSpades, were you always all that cynical?
