There is no Umar the witch in BG2, unfortunately. Wish there was, she would make an awesome fight. (I was actually looking forward on meeting her, but got disappointed..) The solution to problems lies in Temple Ruins (unless that´s the cave you are talking about in the first place?). He´s a creature called Shade Lord..

Or if you are talking about the little cave in Imnesvale, then you should talk to mayor and head to Temple Ruins.
