I heard the news, and it is sad that the world has lost a person of Fred Rogers' caliber. He truly loved kids and did his best to help them with his program. I was a bit older when Mr. Rogers first aired, so I didn't see it often (I was of the Captain Kangaroo generation) but I watched it with my younger cousin when he visited us.
I understand he had stomach cancer. It must have been terrible for the poor man. I only hope he didn't suffer too much at the end, and that he crossed peacefully.
Bless you, Mr. Rogers. You will never be forgotten.
Peace,
-Sazerac
