Children frequently dislike things that are good for them...chores, responsibility, accountability..Homework is a necessary part of the education system I believe...it teaches responsibility and accountability, it also teaches the subject matter and it gets them used to the idea that you have to work to get anywhere in life....Unless you want to be a complete looser.
