Hi everyone - got a strange thing happening...

I've been doing the quest for Lothander in the city of Baldurs Gate. He told me my party
had been poisoned,so I asked the Diviner the question about who could remove the geas spell
from him - Jalantha at temple of umberlee was the answer. Saw her and agreed to fetch the
"Tome of Understanding" from the "Ladys' House". Got the book by asking the priest there
for it and have given it to Jalantha in return for the scroll to remove Lothanders geas!
So all is as it should be...BUT - then I installed TOSC and the 1.3.5512 patch for it and
let the install program convert my saved games.
Now when I go to the Blade & Stars to see Lothander he says "You asked the wrong question!"
All is lost,now were all dead!" That is all he will say - the geas scroll remains in my
inventory - no antidote is given - no reference to getting the other half of the antidote
from Marek - no experience points or journal updates !!! WTF is going on???
I feel certain I've done everything correctly for this quest but it appears that TOSC or the patch has messed up the scripting for this quest.
It now seems inevitable that my party will soon die unless any of you kind souls know of a soloution to this.... PLEASE HELP - I REALLY CAN'T FACE A TOTAL RESTART !!!
