My original question was - I'd accept a carrot in exchange for an item, but which is the item that the item shouldn't be confused with?

From Ye Shoppe Catalogue (of disasters)-

LIGHT GEM - Not to be confused with the heavy gem of a totally different name. Not worth a carrot, but we'll accept one.

The answer as correctly pointed out by LadyZekke was The Heavy Gem.
