Sounds familiar. All through school I noticed that. Worrying thing is, I still notice it among some people that really should know better.
Fortunately such people are really in the minority, although they effect everyone. All that you can do is ignore the prats as best you can.
Only thing that would even have a chance of making them change would be an educational system that could deal out serious consequences. But thats never going to happen, is it?
