How about just 'Trenches' since thats what most people think about when they think of WW I, or 'Trenches and Gas' as gas was used quite alot in tank shells wanst it?

Edit- Or it could be something a bit more Metaphorical, like The Trenches of Time or something..Sorry if I am too late BTW.
