When I read that Osama was saying he was in league with Saddam the first thing I thought was "well of course he's saying that... he WANTS a war between the US and Iraq to get the Islamic world in a lather". I think in this case the first instinct is the right one. Bin Laden has everything to gain and nothing to lose from a war in Iraq (at least that's what he thinks), and just like Saddam, he's willing to sacrifice any number of his own people to get what he wants. His game might backfire though, now that Saddam knows all he's going to get from his Islamic brethren is a knife in the back he might be more serious about dancing to our tune. [img]smile.gif[/img]
The next month or two are going to be very interesting indeed.
