I don't like cats all that much. With the exception of my cat, of course, but that's because she is the greatest cat in the world.

Cats are boring and not loyal at all (though some cats may be, but I have yet to find one) whereas dogs are lots of fun and are loyal. Plus, a guard cat would be fairly useless, as it would probably either not care or sleep through a robbery.
