Sadly we don't get Alpha's in the States... although I see older models around on occasion.
You will in 2005. Yay!!!
Just read a review... looks like a nice ride, but FWD right? Looks like they took a clean looking sedan and rev'd it up. Interesting that they chose all the same components I chose when I decided I wanted to make my pig of a Z28 handle and stop as well as it goes. Bilstien/Eibach's for the bumps and Brembos for the stops. I can certainly attest to the quality of these components.[/QB]
No, the GTAm will be AWD - the normal GTA is FWD (impressive when you're driving 250bhp onto the front wheels and have virtually no torque steer). The review for the normal GTA is here. Just add AWD and an extra 50bhp (for a total of 300bhp) to that - it should go from 0-100 in less than 6 secs actually - maybe about 5.5 or so, which is pretty damn good by any calculation - and it's great on twisty, windy roads as well, with 1.7 turns lock to lock. The great thing about Alfa Romeo is they make supercar performance available to the masses - the GTA gives you BMW M3/M5 type performance for three-quarters of the price.
