I second the notion for using BSPlayer. It can play almost anything Memnoch. Not just Divx stuff. You just need to install the correct codecs. What you need to do is download the full version of the Tsunami Filter pack
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/tsunami_pack.html and then you will have pretty much EVERY codec you ever need and then BSPlayer will be able to play almost any movie format you can throw at it (in my experience although of course I haven't tried every file format).
http://www.bsplayer.org/ You can play normal and divx AVIs as well as MPGs, video CD DATs, ASF, WMV and a couple of other obscure formats. The exception I have seen so far is the QuickTime .MOV format but who needs that anyway?
