What's wrong with the stimulus package? Are you against keeping more of your own money? If anyone is against keeping more of their own money then pass the Presidents stimulus package let those of us that want to keep more of the money WE earn, and you can always add some extra into your tax payments and NOT keep more of your money.
A Fireman married to a Teacher in any major city of the USA are in the top 5% of wage earners Yeah that sure sounds like the RICH to me. $92,000 a year is the top 5% (Actualy it's the top 1% if my memory serves me right but I'm willing to give the extra 4%). If the same couple make $75,000 + a year they're in the top 10%, $55,000 a year the top 25%, and I believe it's $38,000 to be in the top 50%.(Thats a construction worker making $18 an hour or a husband/wife combo making $18 an Hour) Not taking any amount of money out of the private economy allways helps stimulate the private economy. "Hale" even the Liberal Dems understand that! Two years ago does anyone remember what they said about any kind of Tax cuts? Can anyone say NO WAY? Now look at them their own Economic Stimulus package is one where the American Tax payer gets to keep more of their own money. Can anyone say tax cuts? Certainly not the Liberal Dems, although their Economic stimulus package is one of tax cuts, and testifies against the very logic they are trying to push on the unwashed masses of fly-over country. Can anyone say Hypocriticial SOB's? Can anyone say political hacks? or maybe worthless power hungry money grubing fools? I sure as "Hale" can and I call all Liberal Dems and liberal Reps that support The Misserly little Dem. tax cuts, those very terms.
(Edit) Not attacking you LoA, I just can't stand the Liberal Dems & liberal Reps that twist and turn with every change of the political winds. I was pissed as "Hale" at the Conservative Reps. when they gave into the "Zipper" over the government shut down. I want our leaders to stand up for something and let the chips fall where they may.
