When I first got my computer(and with ever other computer I've ever had), if I inserted a disc that had an autorun file, it would automatically run.

If I put in a music CD or DVD, it would pop-up a list of possible programs that could run it and allowed me to choose one. It would also allow me to set that program as default for that type CD or leave it with the entire list to choose from again the next time.

Unfortunately, now when I put a CD in either drive, NOTHING happens! I have to go through "My Computer", double-click the drive to open it to a file list, and then manually choose autorun or setup or whatever.

I've been to the drives under "My Computer" and viewed their properties. There I can choose the Autoplay tab to set them up. I can choose specific programs for music, video, mixed content or whatever. I've reset it to default, which should just pop-up the original menu allowing me to choose which program to use, but it doesn't work. I still get nothing after inserting a disc.

Also, there doesn't seem to be an option to "autoplay" game discs under the drive properties tab. The list of disc types doesn't include a "software" option.

Help Please! My autorun's fallen, and it can't pop-up
!!!!!!!!!!
