Because it's so silly.

This attempts to tag off of the "tobacco litigation" theory, blaming the industry for eons of harm caused. But, in tobacco litigation, the only tobacco companies on the hook were those who had LIED for years and MANIPULATED the product to induce addiction. It was MALICE for PROFIT.

McDonald's publishes the ingredients to its stuff and is quite open about it all. And, is inspected not only at the corporate level but also at each individual restaurant on a regular basis - because it's food and we have health inspectors. You can't make the argument you were duped into years of consuming french fries. Nor can you argue they manipulated the product to addict you.

But, I predict many more silly-type cases based on the tobacco litigation theories.
