are you sure no game files have been corrupted somehow ?

did you just install tactics ? ie after you last went through this dungeon
tactics changes a few things in the first dungeon (although I don't know what) so it sounds like the game is maybe trying to trigger an event that isnt working for some reason. IIRC the original version has a few goblins just as you go into that corridor. maybe the goblin file isnt working, maybe there's a new trap that isn't working or some other new monsters.
try backing up your saved games, then uninstall everything and re-install it all
(actually just try a re-install of your mods first)
