Wellard enters a friendly looking café. It’s his first visit but as he observed from outside the window over the last month or so the atmosphere seems congenial to relaxing and forgetting his worldly worries. He takes off his motorbike helmet and looks around he sees that the staff and patrons look as though they are in their usual happy frame of mind.
He orders an earl grey tea, strong no milk, and some vegemite on toast. Taking of his leather jacket he hangs it over the back of a well-padded chair. Sitting down he nods to those inside and shyly say’s….” G’day.”
