Question Mark

Try getting a phrase book, available at Irish book stores. Or your library may have tapes to learn Gaelic.

It has to be available somewhere as it is a mandatory subject in the Republic of Ireland - so training aids are around.

On a side note I once met a family whose 3 year old was kept speaking only Gaelic. The mother said they were trying to make it easier on him when he got to school ..."because once English gets a hold of them - it s hard to back to Irish"

Its a difficult language to learn - thats why it practically died out after the 1860s - except in the west country and some pockest in Ulster
