It is said that if you could travel faster than light, you could travel to both the future and the past ( some people ask themselves if you travel to the past or the future .. well .. you can travel to both [img]smile.gif[/img] )
But if that's true .. why hasnt it happened yet,.. why havent the humans of the future visited us yet ?
According to Hawking there are only two possibilities:
1. You cant travel fasten than light
2. There are indeed parallel dimensions .. travelling through time makes you travel through dimensions. You'll not only go back in time, but go to another dimension too.
Dimensions are a pain in the ass
We cant really understand nr.4 yet
nr.5 is possibility IIRC.. at every point in time, you could do an infinite number of things. If you stick out your left hand now, in another dimension .. you just stuck out your right [img]tongue.gif[/img] in another maybe you didnt do anything at all, etc. etc.
That way you get quite a lot of dimensions .. if they exist
