It is a known bug caused by the Improved Sahugin component. It'll probably be fixed in the next version.
It's no big deal, anyway - i don't find helping their race more good and just than helping their helping their King. Kill them all, i say, whether you're Good or Evil - and sell their legs in the far east.

Also, what stats determine the dialogue options of the spectator beholder? It can't be charisma (natural or buffed) or rep. I'm wondering if it has something to do with alignment.
