I started the 'Ironworks' area and Forum the day Baldurs Gate 1 came out. (1998?) but the area 'The Great Escape' was up since March or April 1994.
The 1st forum for Ironworks was that crappy forum software that the OLD Interplay forums used up until a year ago. It sucked, so after a few months, I 'merged' the Ironworks forum with my "Great Escape Forum" --which was the Blueboard. (So much better) [img]smile.gif[/img]
The Great Escape website is nearly 10 years old (in 2004) and Ironworks Forum is almost 5 years old!
Expect another 10 years atleast!
and I'm sure in 5 years or so, the bandwidth like a T3 will be as cheap as cablemodem speeds are now, so we'll have even faster bandwidth as things become cheaper!
