I had a really good friend who absolutely annoyed everyone in the offices around him by doing this. Thankfully, his office wasn't next to mine. Equally annoying are those folks who talk on the speakerphone all the time when it's not needed (e.g. when it is only a two person conversation).
I like your idea, though. It'd be a riot. Just don't get busted.
