That was me, and it's not about being non-religious. It's about being lazy. Is Easter E-Day, and Veteran's Day V-day (there is a V day, but it's not this one). And I'm 99.9% sure that when lazy-ass americans use X-mas, they are not using your Greek/Latin X, but X short for Christmas. This was brought up when I started the topic.
