Grungi, I'm sorry that you took my post that way. I'm an archaeologist and historian, and I love to get involved in discussions about history. I see a historical debate coming up and just love to join in. I was hoping that we could have a debate about laws, but it seems that was not to be. Never mind.
My apologies if my enthusiasm for my subject annoyed or upset you in any way.
And about my use of the word bollocks? Well it's my catchphrase, I thought since you'd been here since September you might have seen me use it to other people. It's a bit of a long-standing joke amongst those on the board who know me, and I'm sorry if I misjudged on this occassion - I honestly thought you would take it in the lighthearted way in which it was intended.
