The thread is about a spending progam, for low income, heating assistance, part of the federal budget that has passed the Hose of Reps but not the U.S. Senate.
I would agree that pension plans that don't keep up with inflation are losing ground, can anyone say Social Security? But I believe if you are willing to let the politcians give you your pension, and look after you in your old age, well you'll get what you wanted.
