when you play the game, you dont need to fill up all your follower slots. I usually do it wath a small party (2-4 characters). this gives a better XP cut, and lets me finish the game with a specialist of some sort (no fighter/mage/theif, or any multiclassing).
my experiences with multiclassing haven't been good. I tried to make a mage/cleric and have it wind out like Aerie, where every level i get both mage and cleric spells. (I started Cleric and at the start of the game, immediately switched to mage). After i surpassed the original level, every level i still only received mage spells. is Aerie a "special" class? (i use "special" lightly here)
