You ARE missing the point though, which is, you have to take many things on FAITH, not firsthand experience. Faith is a vital part of the human experience. You can never PROVE someone loves you. Why are we talking about the earth being round anyway. We're talking about the huge leap of faith required to accept the validity of carbon dating. Many blindly accept it without understanding how it works! Talk about being spoon fed sheep not thinking for themselves!
