BAD IDEA!

I can imagine a hacker or spy that only needs to hack one giant, heavily gaurded database to obtain lots of information about an American instead of a myriad of small ones.

Also, I fear for the people ALREADY persecuted by the drug war. We will continue to see an increase in our prison population and it won't be terrorists.

How easy we forget COINTELPRO. Goverment should keep a database on CRIMINALS, not citizens.

Besides, the sheer principle of the matter. The ideaology of personal liberty, already a precious commodity, is at stake.
