It was awesome. It went really well. I sung well and had a good time. The band were tight, the arrangements spot on. I was very happy. [img]smile.gif[/img] I had some amazing conversations with people afterwards. Some of whose music I'd listened to and loved when I was a teenager. That was wild I can tell you.

There were plenty of Australians there, and... wait for it.... backstage the beer was... VB! Victoria Bitter! Arguably Australia's favourite beer. You can't buy it here. Bloody Fosters everywhere and no VB!
The whole Australiana element was really special. It was like a merger of two worlds. The night opened with a didg player' An indigenous Australian. There were an assortment of Australian music/media personalities there, and a healthy dash of locals too.
Really really cool.
