I don't like english because your mark really depends on the teacher. Each teacher likes different formats and ways of writing. With math and sort of science, the teacher doesn't make a difference- the answer is right or it's wrong, and which you get is entirely up to you. My gr9 English teacher also had a religion class, and religion is supposed to be easy, but Jesus himself would've failed that Religion class...
