A cheese danish in Denmark is called a cream cake or "Flødekager" and french frys are "Pommes frites"
Now someone must tell me the names of these in their native lands...

English Muffin
Canadian Bacon
Polish sausage
and um.....German potato salad Feel free to add to the list
Hmmm...lemme see if I can pronounce it for you in my native language:

*ahem*...

English Muffin = English Muffin
Canadian Bacon = Canadian Bacon
Polish sausage = Polish sausage (though I buy it in the store and sometimes it's called Polska Kielbasa there )
and um.....German potato salad = um.....German potato salad

*whew!* Hope you can handle those pronunciations!
