I use it when i'm not exactly sure if i'm talking to a guy or a girl. In the beginning i didn't do that, and i called Epona "dude" for some time. I figured Epona was a guy because of all the threads related to alcohol she was in in those days. Little did i know.
Same thing happened with Kaz, i thought that was a guy too. LOL
