Well, heres my tactic.
First, I cast haste before the battle:
Have any Druids cast Entangle
Have any clerics cast Hold-Person
Have any Magic users case Cloud Kill if avaible, or Fireball if not.
Have fighters kill everyone they see with bows.
The only piece that survive the inital round are usually the knights, the king, and the queen. Round #2's fireball should kill everyone except the king. And once hes alone, he dies pretty quick.
