Well donīt ask me why...
Something interesting I just found out was that my mobo actually supports x4 too, and runs at 1.5V. Sorry about misnformation, hadnīt checked the manuals or bios for ages. Memory allowance was also set for 128mb, as I have 256mb in the machine.
So something positive from Via.
