Lol Cerek the Barbaric. That is why P&P roleplay will always be better than pcRPG. no pcRPG will allow you to improvise like that, you have to deal with whatever rules have been coded into the game. But that's another topic and I'm inspired to create a thread....

Onto the topic at hand. While I've really enjoyed playing lots of classes and characters in BG/BG2, the one that I have never been interested in, and never allowed as a NPC is Druid. stupid hippies. Druids annoy the carp out of me. Even Jaheira, fighter/druid so she can actually do something besides heal, annoys me. Just her whole elitist attitude narks me. Not to mention that druids don't have any of the good priest spells other than healing (eg anti-undead ones). I much prefer Aerie once she gets a few levels, and her priest/mage spell combo makes her very versatile, and with a lovely "damsel-in-distress" thing happening that makes all males love her . Anomen would find himself a permanent member of my party if he wasn't such a ponce, cause equipped properly he's a well-decent tank with great spells and the always handy Turn-Undead (great for those times you stuble into a zombie pit and 15 greater mummies rush you... and shadows !!! what is with shadow rushes ?) Anyway... I've never really used bards, but I have just decided this time round to give Haer'Dalis a go... just finished the quests involving him and ready to start using him. I'm also thinking I might be a bard next game and try out the bard stronghold.
