I play with ToB, fixpack, merchants, tactics and ascension installed, and have no problems. Dungeon-be-gone is of the same type as tactics and ascension, so it should work fine.

There isnt a limit to the number of mods you can install, but some mods do conflict, especialy mods from smaller groups.

non-weiDU mods are limited to *one* and only one - these mods include a complete dialogue.tlk so if you have more than one only the most recently installed one works.
