Hardly.
The Slow effect is much better than it looks - has no save, ignores Magic Resistance, bypasses Stoneskin and is cumulative.

Gnasher +2 : 1D6 +2 +(2*4) = 13.5

Keep Blackblood for Trolls and Mages.
