I do believe that Windows was a rip off of the Mac OS way back when then 386 first made it's appearance on the scene. I had an 8086 with Tandy's Deskmate software, when my buddy was using an Apple Macintosh (the original). The Mac is to PC's as Beta was to VHS. A much better technology, just poorly marketed.
For the record I am a PC user through and through.
