Ok, this *is* confusing.

It couldn`t be something being intercepted- unless your computer has an aerial ?? [img]smile.gif[/img]
Mobile phones, cordless phones, TVs, walkie talkies, and radios can intercept phonecalls and two-way radio conversations, but they all have aerials, and so can intercept the radio waves...
But a computer ?? [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img]
Make sure you don`t have some kind of a phone call reciever running without asking you... press Ctrl-Alt-Delete if it happens again, and see what you recognise. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Scholarcs- Dialup internet is connected directly to the phoneline, so if you could intercept phonecalls through it, you should have been able to do the same with a phone on that same line.
