AAAHHH. Have just been informed of the need to return to hospital. I hate that place, so depressing.
Let me recount my last major experience at a hospital.
Nurse - "Would a Mr. Portman please come to the desk."
So up I shuffle, on crutches (my leg's broken.) At the front of the line is some woman
Annoying Lady - "Excuse me, I was here first, and my baby is having incredible life-threatening pain due to an ear infection! Look, it's oozing out!"
*pan to a healthy looking child, busy messing up the In/Out timetable*
Annoying Lady - "You see!!!"
My dad - "Listen lady, they called us up, so tough cookies {so it wasn't really cookies
}"
Nurse - *smiling her @$$ off*
It gets better in 2 years, when I no longer have to go to the "Children's" Hospital. I've always wondered what it must be like to bring in your baby and see, in front of you, a 6'3" giant.
