No wait, oops, I need that sage advice here I think.
Actually I see it as linear.

But to weigh in on the backwards time travel thing - If it's possible there's still no way to change the past.
Because if you did go back and 'change the past' (ie: affect something) the present you know would always have been the one derived from your changes.
