Actually, 5-Sided Dices do exist, and I own one of them because I use them for my Warhammer 40K Games.
Dang weird shape I will tell you that much.
One thing I am grateful for about CRPGs... no manual rolling of 30d6... fun as it may be... counting the total is tedious.
Funny, when I play warhammer 1d5 is got by rolling 1d6 discard sixes. Or 1d10 subtract 5 if over 5. And when in the new edition do you roll 1d5? I know 3rd had all those weird armour penetration rolls for heave weapons, but not in the new edition AFAIK. SO whats this 1d5 look like? Bet its not a fair dice anyway.
Agree 100% on the tedium though, once managed to lose a terminator squad to gretchin. 100 gretchin. In close combat. Took ages to count up.
