Concentrate on becoming friends with her. At your age (I'm assuming around high school) you'll save yourself from alot of emotional trauma down the road. Some of my best friends back then were girls, and I'm still close with a few.
The real mindf'er comes when they start getting married. One of Father Time's favorite little jokes.
