Well, if we continue to supply people with weapons, such as the Taliban who we originally aided since they were fighting the Evil Empire of the USSR, then it matters very much. The people we arm today may attack us tomorrow, a simple lesson that we obviously have yet to learn, to the detriment of our soldiers, our citizens, and in part, the victims of 9-11.
I hope to God that it did change our perspective, Attalus, we sorely need that.
